Measuring electroplated coating thickness

Measuring the thickness of electroplated coatings is essential to verify process compliance and the quality of the metal deposit. At ARgentAR, we use computerised measuring equipment to analyse component surfaces and check the relevant parameters before treatment begins.

Once processing is complete, the thickness of the metal coating is checked using non-destructive X-ray analysis, a technique that measures the thickness of the deposited layer without damaging the component.
